AT CITYCENTRE
This Friday, August 19th, at six o’clock, Sean Heyl kicks off the festivities with a selection of pop and rock favorites. Heyl describes himself as a “mix of indie and rock with a dash of folk.” Based out of Houston, Texas, Heyl is a multinstrumentalist and songwriter with an EP on the way. With more than fifteen years of experience in the music industry, you won’t want to miss Heyl’s set this Friday evening.
Saturday August 20th at six, put on your boots and hat, because Harley Ray is going to take the mood in country direction. His pop and country selections will be rocking the crowd all evening. Harley Ray is a big promoter of local music and musicians and hosts frequent open mics. His skillful guitar playing and soulful vocals will have you grooving the night away.
On Sunday August 21st, CITYCENTRE Plaza welcomes Jenna Pierce at three o’clock for some inspirational Christian music. Spend the last peaceful moments of the weekend listening to soothing songs with Jenna Pierce at the Plaza.
AT CENTURY SQUARE
Century Square hosts music on the weekends as well, as part of its Front Porch live music series. Artists’ line-up will include solos + duos made up of students and locals alike who are making their name in our city. With dinner and drinks within arm’s reach, we welcome you to grab your favorite people, take a seat, take a sip, and enjoy a relaxed night in the heart of College Station. You can enjoy the music from the festively lit Green at Century Square or from one of the many restaurant patios.
Friday August 19th on the Front Porch at Century Square Tim Fralik will be playing country hits and originals.
Saturday August 20th on the Front Porch at Century Square Ethan Hanson takes the stage. A native of New Braunfels, Ethan is a new up-and-comer on the Texas music scene. Just two years ago Ethan won a music contest in College Station and he’s only toured more since. He’s been on the road across Texas all summer, working on honing his craft. Catch this exciting new Texas talent sing his songs.
